About the Role

OVERVIEW:
Responsible for digital marketing activities for assigned departments or business lines. Support the development, execution and evaluation of digital marketing and communication programs designed to meet business objectives of M&T Bank Corporation business unit managers, while reinforcing the Bank's brand identity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate the execution and delivery of digital customer marketing campaigns and programs in support of business and marketing objectives.
Provide input and assist in the execution of marketing and/or communication campaign projects from conceptualization through execution and implementation.
Support the delivery of targeted marketing campaigns throughout the authenticated and mobile app spaces, including banners and interstitials.
Assist in design and implement test plans (A/B and multivariate) to optimize user experience and engagement. Analyze results of marketing campaigns and make recommendations based upon campaign results and effectiveness in meeting business objectives.
Assist in the maintenance of detailed channel documentation including procedures manuals, control documents, project requirements, campaign calendars and forms that are utilized for day-to-day campaign management as well as audit exercises.
Continuously explore opportunities to improve processes and controls to ensure adherence to all relevant corporate and business practices and policies and to mitigate potential operational and reputational risks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree.
2 years of experience in managing marketing campaigns in a client or agency environment, OR, in lieu of a degree, a combined 6 years of education and work experience.
In-depth understanding of how users interact with digital media, as well as online and mobile user behavior. Looking for assistance for the Social Media and Owned Assets teams due to the large number of requests we are currently getting. Candidate should have experience with Sprinklr and AEM (or similar CMS). This is currently for Q2, but may be extended due to skills of the candidate and the business need. We are looking for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for helping execute organic social content across all social media channels, providing measurement reports, and adhering to all compliance procedures and documentation. This role is highly collaborative across the organization and will report directly to the SVP of Social Media. Our ideal candidate is passionate about social media and possesses a team player attitude, has excellent writing skills, demonstrates strong judgement, and is a multi-tasker who can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Follow the M&T Bank Social Media Policy. • Help develop social media posts for all organic social channels, including ideation, writing, and creative execution. • Publish social media content through Sprinklr with appropriate and accurate tagging. • Pull measurement reports for campaigns and monthly metrics, highlighting progress and surfacing key learnings to the team. • Submit products and services related content to the compliance team, gaining all necessary approvals before posts go live. • Weekly archive all M&T Bank social media posts into Compliance’s Workfront system. • Weekly content archive in AirTable. • Provide social listening reports through Sprinklr when needed. • Attend on-site events and capture content when needed. • Stay on top of the latest social media trends. • Perform other duties when assigned. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • 3+ years' relevant experience in social media marketing • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • In-depth understanding of relevant & upcoming social media • Excellent verbal, communication & writing skills • Strong project management skills • Up to date on relevant cultural events • Knowledge of Sprinklr, JIRA, Workfront preferred.
