About the Role
Overview:
Receives mail and pulls and re-files documents and files on Institutional clients; updates tracking system on all associated activity.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Check manifests for documents received from Institutional customers to the actual documents; determine if the document is a copy or original. Update tracking system with documents received either manually or by an import.
• Pull files/documents requested by other team members and sign them out to each individual for tracking of files; update tracking system with release information on files that have been requested by customers. Send files/documents to the correct customer.
• Re-file files and/or documents returned to the vault; update tracking system with return information for re-instatements of any returned files from customers to support system accuracy.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
High School or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year work experience
Proficiency with personal computers
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Good alpha/numeric skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Education and Experience Preferred:
Ability to work under time constraints while maintaining accuracy
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 30 - 50 pounds
Able to climb on a ladder and/or stool and bend for filing
Able to stand for long periods of time
